is still on the loose this morning. san francisco police say think all began when officers tried to make a traffic stop for a light that was out on the license plate on the car. something very simple but it ended with this dangerous crash and the shooting and the sergeant we talked to says he feels lucky no officers were hurt. >> no one else was seriously hurt. the only injury i know of at this point is a hurt hand. given all things that could have gone wrong, i think this is pretty good. >> reporter: so san francisco police still out here investigating this morning. one interesting thing you can see sort of how violent this crash was. we saw a police officer who was carrying off the top of a parking meter. it was sheered off as a result of this accident this morning. police believe they have arrested the passenger inside this car. they are still looking for the driver of the car and at this point it's unclear why they ran from police this morning. the only thing the sergeant could come up with because they had a gun inside the car. live this morning in san francisco alex savidge ktvu ch
